Using robotics and coding in the classroom can encourage students to use their imagination to solve problems. I have taught a club called Gearheads for 4 years, and spoke at Google Ed Tech, and Rochester Maker Faire about this topic!

Through working with non-profits such as Block Island Maritime Institute and Atlantic Shark Institute, I have become skilled in marine education. Learn about the challenges facing our marine ecosystems and how you can help through educational resources and events.

I have always been inspired by the ocean, and the creatures in it. Combining my passion for ocean science, and art I wrote and illustrated a children's book called "Friends with the Ocean"! This book was created to help inspire a new generation of curious scientists who think outside the box and appreciate nature.
